Covid 19 Notice
Our organisation has adapted its services to still operate during the Covid-19 pandemic using online platforms, telephone and email. Volunteers are regularly making friendly calls to see how users, who are mostly lonely and isolated, are doing and offer help. We provided ongoing support and telephone outreach to our young users shielding during the pandemic. Volunteers also helped to deliver food and medicine to elderly people under lock down. We have managed to run information, signposting and interpretation sessions all with the power of Zoom and Facebook which has maintained the cohesiveness of our charity. The pandemic has adversely affected our organisation and the people we support. With the virus has come increased domestic abuse, a decrease in mental wellness.
